Cabinet ministers today (Tuesday), 25.10.11, unanimously approved the outline for the release of Israeli citizen Ilan Grapel, who is expected to return to the State of Israel on Thursday, 27.10.11.  Israel has acceded to Egypt's request to release 22 prisoners – as well as three detained minors – who hold Egyptian citizenship.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has instructed the relevant authorities to do their utmost in order to bring about the release of Israeli citizen Ouda Tarabin, who has been imprisoned in Egypt for over 11 years.

The Cabinet ministers thanked the US Government for its considerable assistance in facilitating the outline for Grapel's release.
